The project of adapting a 100-year-old mill for residential purposes for a family of 6 is one of our biggest design challenges recently. The four-storey building, perfectly preserved and under conservation protection, has been divided into two premises: the lower one with direct access to a small garden, and the upper one with an added, external staircase and an impressive attic space, in which the original roof truss was exposed.
